A Family in Need of Donations
We lost Kelly Franklin on January 24, 2014. It was an unexpected loss in our lives and she is greatly missed everyday. Kelly's two daughters are now under the care of her ex husband's Aunt.
My In-Laws, Kelly's parents, proceeded to go to court to get Grandparents' rights of Kelly's daughters on Wednesday, June 24th 2015 after over a year of trying to see them and facing one challenge after another. Now, the court is sending my In-Laws and nieces to be evaluated.
We will do whatever it takes to reestablish our family ties with these girls.
It's never easy to lose a family member such as Kelly, but we shouldn't have to lose her daughters, as well. We do not want to take these girls away from the family they have formed with their Aunt. We just want the ability to see them and have these two little girls back in our lives.
Please help us spread the word for my family.
And thank you all for your support and your prayers.
Love,
The Franklins

Today's read
The Edge Chronicles
book 1, Beyond The DEEPWOODS
by Paul Stewart and Chris Riddell.
I
haven't gotten too far into this, but I think I'm going to love it.
The description, the lands, the stories. Just the first Chapter alone
is enough to draw you far enough into their world that you don't want
to come out for days.
When I read books I
read them in little bursts. I can't help it. Some books I read from
beginning to end in a day or so, while others I will read a few
chapters and step away, only to come back a few days later to read a
bit more. It just depends upon the books.
Are you the same
way? What books can you remember that you started and stepped away
from and why?
Tess Gerritsen books
are the perfect example of this for me! I can only read a few
chapters and then it's a bit much. I have to step away and process
what happened in her books.
But so far, the Edge
Chronicles book 1 I feel that I will mostly post this blog and then
dive back into the world around Twig. I just wanted to jump on and
prove that I was still l alive to all those wondering. :)
Happy Reading
everyone.

Happy Friday
Happy Friday!
There is something
about Friday that puts a smile on my face. On this day I start work
at a local Ice cream shop, Marble Slab, until the afternoon on
Sunday. It's a fun place to work. Honestly, you can't not be happy
when you work around ice cream all day. :D What makes you happy about
Friday?
Yet again my family
has finished two new puzzles “F is for Feline” puzzle title in
which two 5oo piece puzzles are placed together in a box with no
picture. It has a fun back story to a crime and you have to solve the
crime with the two puzzles you are given. It truly was a lot of fun.
It's one of those Mother daughter things we love to do in our free
time. And my mum has gotten good. :)
Okay, there is a new
rule around the house. I am not allowed to buy more books until I
finish some of the ones I own. I guess that is a fair deal. I have to
try and curve my spending habits one way or another. :) I guess my
husband doesn't know that I can read like a crazy person.
As I was writing
that last line. My husband looked over my shoulder and said new rule,
every 10 books you can buy a new one since you read so fast.
….... He is so
cruel.
So my list of books
read already is Suddenly Supernatural book four: Crossing Over.
5/5 stars! I love
Mrs. Kimmel's Middle Grade books featuring medium-in-training Kat
Roberts. So far there are four books in this series and they are
filled to the brim with humor, teenage struggles, crushes, and
friendships. :)
That's one book
down! Nine more to go!
I am also currently
reading The lightning Thief and The Flame in the Mist. Review coming for The lightning Thief SOON.

Reading in June
Reading in June! There are so many books on my Bookshelf that I can't keep up. From Working at the Ice Cream shop, writing my next story, and trying to keep sane, I find it hard to relax long enough to read. But I will read these books!!! My list is short this time so I will succeed. :)
The Search For WondLa
When a marauder destroys the underground sanctuary that Eva Nine was raised in by the robot Muthr, the twelve-year-year-old girl is forced to flee aboveground. Eva Nine is searching for anyone else like her, for she knows that other humans exist, because of an item she treasures—a scrap of cardboard on which is depicted a young girl, an adult, and a robot, with the strange word, “WondLa.” Tony DiTerlizzi honors traditional children’s literature in this totally original space age adventure: one that is as complex as an alien planet, but as simple as a child’s wish for a place to belong.
Breathtaking two-color illustrations throughout reveal another dimension of Tony DiTerlizzi’s vision, and, for those readers with a webcam, the book also features Augmented Reality in several places, revealing additional information about Eva Nine’s world.
The Flame In The Mist
Fiery-headed Jemma Agromond is not who she thinks she is, and when the secrets and lies behind her life at mist-shrouded Agromond Castle begin to unravel, she finds herself in a chilling race for her life. Ghosts and misfits, a stone and crystals, a mysterious book, an ancient prophecy—all these reveal the truth about Jemma's past and a destiny far greater and more dangerous than she could have imagined in her wildest fantasies. With her telepathic golden rats, Noodle and Pie, and her trusted friend, Digby, Jemma navigates increasingly dark forces, as helpers both seen and unseen, gather. But in the end, it is her own powers that she must bring to light, for only she has the key to defeating the evil ones and fulfilling the prophecy that will bring back the sun and restore peace in Anglavia.
The Lightning Thief
Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is on the most dangerous quest of his life. With the help of a satyr and a daughter of Athena, Percy must journey across the United States to catch a thief who has stolen the original weapon of mass destruction — Zeus' master bolt. Along the way, he must face a host of mythological enemies determined to stop him. Most of all, he must come to terms with a father he has never known, and an Oracle that has warned him of betrayal by a friend.
Three books, that's my goal. I will try and do them within the week. It's time for some nice, long me time. I am going to curl up in bed and read all day and night. haha, don't you ever feel like that? What are you planning to read this month? Any suggestions for my next read? Not that I need anymore due to the stacks of books next to my bed. LOL

the Pulse Trilogy is almost done. :)
The Pulse Trilogy is
nearing a close. Once I get Flat Line in my hands I am going to give
it one last review before releasing it and then it's onto the next
project. There will never be an end to the Pulse World. I look
forward to exploring the mystery behind certain characters, but at a
later time.
It has been a fun
adventure writing about Elizabeth and Virgil. Honestly, It might not
be the last. You may glimpse them again in the near future. :)
And as I wait for
Flat Line to get here I am reviewing over Guardian, A Fated Pairing
line by line to turn it into a paperback. Fourth paperback! Yeah!!
Cross your fingers that it will be available in October.

Genre:
Paranormal Romance
Blurb:
Everything was perfect for Elizabeth and Virgil, who were a week away
from getting married. Though Virgil would argue that having his
sister help was driving him mad and that he wished Elizabeth would
stay away from work. Other than that, Elizabeth couldn’t be more
excited! But secretly she was afraid. Her vampire rebirth was just
around the corner. Any moment she would start dying. Yes, dying.
There was no other word to describe it. And when she woke up, she
would either be a psycho blood thirsty killer, a relatively normal
vampire like Virgil, or she wouldn’t wake up at all. It could mean
the end of everything for her. No pressure.
Not to make a difficult situation worse, but Elizabeth is being
followed. Someone else is interested to see how Elizabeth’s rebirth
is going to go, and they aren’t willing to wait. Elizabeth and
Virgil will have to face their toughest challenge yet. This will be a
battle that will push everyone to their limits both mentally and
physically.
Will Elizabeth and Virgil finally get their Happy-Ever-After or has fate got another plan in store for them?
